Genera admission requirements - Degree Programmes
Possession of an Advanced
       Certificate of Secondary Education
       Examination (ACSEE) with at least
       two principal level passes and a
       minimum overall score, of 2.5
       points, where A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2,
       E=1 and S=0.5, and
Possession of a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination with at least three credit passes in approved subjects one of which must be the English Language.

Passing the Tumaini University Makumira Dar es Salaam College Special Entry Examination. Eligibility to sit for the Special Entry Examination is based on the candidate’s possession of an ACSEE score with 2 passes totalling less than 2.5 points;

Possession of satisfactory admission qualifications currently in effect in the Public University in the applicant's own Country. Plus are–University course if from an 8-4-4 country.

Equivalent Qualifications
Any other additional qualifications that may be judged acceptable by the College Academic Board.

Registration Procedures
Besides the above, a prospective student must submit a completed application form accompanied with a 30,000/= non-refundable fee.

Furnishing a Medical examination form on the fitness of the candidate to pursue University programmes.

Submission of proof of sufficient funds for the completion of the programme.

Letter of reference regarding
(a) Personal integrity
(b) Academic performance.

Enrolment:
TUMADARCo enrols students without regard to creed, race, religious or Political orientation. It enrols both mature and employed applicants as well as fresh from school A level graduates, provided they qualify for the programme for which they have applied.

Possession of Identity Card (ID)
The possession of an ID is a prerequisite for benefiting from various college services and participating in academic as well as administrative tasks. Students shall carry at all times, while on TUMADARCo premises.

The ID shall be demanded for the following:-

Entering and using the library as well as borrowing books and accessing special reserve.
Entering the computer room and using the computers.
Entering an examination room and sitting for any Tumaini University MAkumira Examination administered and conducted by the College.
Campus identification, especially by the College guards.

Entry requirements and language support
Normal In Tanzania Higher Education system the instruction language will be English rare swahili will be used, in order to be able to communicate with locals, you may need to learn swahili language, TUMADARCo does not conduct Swahili courses but there are many local institutions that offer Swahili courses for foreignes.

Important Details

Details for joining undergraduate studies at Tumaini University Makumira Dar es Salaam College for Academic year 2013-2014 can be downloaded here. Please read the application details carefuly then download and fill in the application form, attach the application form with Birth Certificate or Affidavit, return the application form with deposit slip of TZS 30,000.00 payable through bank account number shown below. Bank deposit slip in favour of Tumaini University Makumira Dar es Salaam College (TUMADARCo).

Application form should be returned in our Mwenge Campus, next to Euro Printing.

Application fee should be paid directlt to the CRDB Bank A/c no. 01J1021002200 or NBC A/c no. 011103030931. The bank pay in slip should be presented to the College Bursar immediately for a receipt.

Note: Only form returned with correct amount can be processed.

The deadline is 1 June 1, 2013.
