Tumaini University Makumira Dar Es Salaam College Clarifies tuition fee increase

Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College (TUMADARCo) has dismissed as baseless claims that the college has increased tuition fees by 60 percent for student enrolled for 2010 academic year.
TUMADARCo Provost Prof. Geoffrey Mmari told the press in Dar es Salaam yesterday that the claims reported in section of the media were baseless.
He said new students would pay an increase of 50 percent while those in second year would pay an increase of 40 percent and third year 38 percent.
Prof Mmari said the increase of fees was prompted by increase of cost of running the college.
The new student will be required to pay registration fees 40,000/=, admission fee 30,000/= precaution fee 20,000/= and 15,000/
